Shoreline Master Program Update
The cities of Battle Ground, Camas, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, Yacolt, and Clark County are working together to develop consistent shoreline policies and regulations. The State Shoreline Management Act requires counties and cities to update their Shoreline Master program (SMP) by December 1, 2011. SMPs contain goals, policies, and reguations that govern activities on and near lakes, streams, and rivers.
