The
City of Camas PLANNING DIVISION, under the direction
of the Community Development Director, is responsible
for administering the City's land use program including
comprehensive planning and permit processing services.
The
Planning Division is responsible for developing, and
implementing regulations; administering environmental
protection programs; and processing and issuing zoning,
subdivision and other development permits.
The Planning Division is comprised of three principal
functions: Current Planning (Development Services),
Long Range Planning, and Environmental Planning.
It is oftentimes within a public process which planning
division staff conducts its work. Planning encourages
citizens to participate within this public process in
order to develop a vital community for today and the
future.
The
Camas Municipal Code is revised regularly. Please contact
the Community Development Department for the latest
code revisions as they pertain to land use.
