The City of Camas is currently seeking interested citizens to serve on the Civil Service Commission.
The Civil Service Commission oversees the rules and regulations related to testing, hiring and other matters for all full-time employees of the Camas Police and Fire Departments. (Camas Municipal Code Chapter 2.36)
Members of this commission must be a US Citizen, a resident of Camas for at least three years preceding appointment, and an elector of Clark County. Commissioners shall serve without compensation, are appointed by the Mayor, and serve for a six year term.
