The City of Camas is beginning work on the North Shore Subarea Plan. This is a nine-month effort to plan a future for the area north of Lacamas Lake. The City recognized that the current plans in effect may need to be adjusted to better meet the needs of our City over the next 20 years. The area is anticipated to redevelop with a mix of employment, retail and residential uses as it is currently zoned. The North Shore Subarea Plan will include a community vision, conceptual road alignment, land use designations, and a projection for future jobs and housing.
Join us for a series of upcoming meetings.
First, we are hosting a Community “Question and Answer Forum” that is being planned for November 21st, starting at 6:00 p.m., at Lacamas Lake Lodge.
The second meeting will be a hands-on Visioning Workshop to collaborate on the creation of a future vision for the area. That meeting will be held at the Camas High School Library between 6:00 and 8:00 on December 17th.
