If
you are considering changing the use of your land in
the City of Camas or considering a land division there
are a variety of issues for you to review.
Title
16 contains the Environmental Code. This code is
currently under revision. Check the Environmental
Planning site for more in depth review of the environmental
code. However, the above link goes to the current published
environmental code.
Title
17 is referred to as the Land Division Section of
the Camas Municipal Code. It provides rules, regulations,
requirements and standards for division of land in the
City.
Title
18, The Zoning Code, provides for the implementation
for the Comprehensive Plan. It is also the tool used
to encourage the most appropriate use of the land, conserve
and stablize the value of property and assure the public
health, safety and general welfare of all of our citizens.
Due to the size and content of this title, revisions
are made on a frequent basis. Please contact the Planning
Department for the most current information.
A
copy of the Zoning
Map is provided for your convenience. All land use
decisions are steered by the designations of the Zoning
Map. You may want to review the Comprehensive Plan
Section of this code for information on proposed changes
to the zoning map.
It
may be necessary for you to comply with provisions of
the Design Review Manual , particularly if you are considering
commercial or multi-family projects.
