Bob Cunningham Building Offical for the City of Camas, oversees the Building Division staff and their duties such as permit issuance, inspections, plan review, and monitoring construction sites.

The Building Division ensures that all new construction conforms to the 2006 International Building Codes and the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code. We work together with architects, engineers, and contractors to assure a successful well built project.

The Building Division works closely with other departments concerning addressing, utilities, land use, and safety concerns. We provide data for County and State agencies on a monthly basis, in addition to the data and reports generated for other City departments.
