January Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Kris Cavin for generously giving his time and talents to photograph school and community events; capturing special moments for the students, families and community, which he freely shares. |
February Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Tim Hein for his dedicated service to the community as a member of the Planning Commission since 2004, and his steadfast leadership through challenging topics and developments; always with the City's long-term best interests at heart. |
March Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Cassi Marshall for her outstanding passion to perserve and enhance the parks and trails throughout the City and initiating a greater community involvement for these precious resources.

April Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Barb Baldus for her exceptional service to others and the community. While often working behind the scenes, she has filled many roles as an active volunteer for events, committees and boards; and continually demonstrates her willingness to help wherever needed.

May Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Francher Donaldson and Uta Zuendel for their vital and proactive service to our community. Francher as an active member of the Friends & Foundation of the Camas Library, which enriches the programs and services our Library offers; and Uta's instrumental role in the beautification of Downtown Camas and continued efforts to enhance the charm of our City. |
June Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Vicki Kerr for her many years of invaluable assistance to the Parks & Recreation department and her countless hours of volunteering for various events. Furthermore, her leadership on the “Partners with Camas Parks & Rec”, has resulted in more community awareness and involvement in the City’s Parks & Recreation programs. |
July Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Richard Mancini for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the Camas High School Bands, which provides amazing opportunities for students to learn discipline, dedication and cooperation. The students’ experience is further heightened with biennial trips to Disney and participation in community concerts and the Camas Days parade. |
August Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to the Grass Valley and Prune Hill Wards of the L.D.S. Church in appreciation of their dedicated volunteer groups, who have given countless hours in service to the Camas community. |
September Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to John and Judy Hazen for their exceptional dedication as the hosts at Fallen Leaf Park during the last three summer seasons. They represented Camas in the best possible way with their genuine friendliness and by consistently going out of their way to help all park users and staff. Their tireless efforts have ensured that the park is maintained during the season for all to enjoy. |
October Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Underwriters Laboratories for their willingness to organize the annual Lacamas Lake Clean Up event for the last several years. They have provided an invaluable service to the community by coordinating local sponsors, groups and neighbors to remove trash and foreign debris from Lacamas Lake.

November Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Linda Dietzman for her faithful service to our community as the Camas representative on the Clark County Mosquito Control Board for the last 14 years. |
December Volunteer Spirit Award Recipient The Mayor's Volunteer Spirit Award goes to Shannon Van Horn for her enthusiasm to enhance and connect our community as a driving member of the Camas Farmers Market and as a volunteer with the Downtown Camas Association.
