Term: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2015
Tim Hazen was appointed by Council to the position of Ward 1 on January 1, 2011. Tim was elected to serve his first term on City Council in November of 2011.
Tim grew up in Portland, Oregon graduating from Parkrose High School. He attended the University of Oregon where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Tim moved to Camas in 1994 and started his family. He has had an active role in his community with leadership postions with the Jack, Will & Rob Board as well as co-chairing the Camas Days Parade for the last decade.
Tim Began his professional work in the senior health industry in 1990. After over 15 years of working in leadership positions for a privately held senior housing organization, he left to start his own senior healthcare company. Today, Tim owns or operates multiple senior living communities in the area.
Tim is happily married and has two incredible daughters that attend the Camas schools. He looks forward to working hard to try to make a difference in the community that he and his family loves.
