Email notices are the most timely and cost-effective notices.
- Receive an email reminder message three days before your library materials come due.
- Check your email account frequently. Most materials can be renewed if there are no holds for the item.
Other choices for notification are telephone or regular US mail.
- Renew materials to avoid late notices.
- Overdue notices are sent when materials are 14 days late and 42 days late.
- Borrowing privileges are suspended after 60 days. Materials are assumed lost and a bill for the replacement cost of the material is sent by US mail.
- One month after billing, unresolved accounts over $40.00 are sent to a collection agency and a $10 collection agency fee will be added to your account.
The Camas Public Library does not currently charge late fees for overdue materials. Please help keep the library fine free by renewing and returning all materials on time.
