After undergoing a review, the Camas Fire Deparment Volunteer Program
was disbanded in 2004. An "intern" type volunteer program was under consideration, but due to budgetary constraints, this is not currently feasible. Neighboring agencies with volunteer and/or intern programs are East County Fire & Rescue and the Washougal Fire Department.
Retired Fire Volunteers
are honored with a monument located in front of
the Camas Public Library.
