The City of Camas is working with a regional partnership to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan. A hazard mitigation plan is the foundation of a community’s long-term strategy to reduce disaster losses caused by hazards such as earthquakes, floods, storms, and wildfires and break the cycle of disaster damage, reconstruction, and repeated damage.

We want to find out more about your opinions, experience, and knowledge of natural hazards. The information you provide will help us identify projects and strategies that will lower the risk of injury, property damage, and other impacts in future disasters.

Please take the Hazard Mitigation Public Survey by clicking the link below https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ClarkCounty2016HMP

To learn more about the project and how it affects you, or to find out about upcoming events and how to become involved in the planning process, visit the project website at http://cresa911.org/hazmitplanproject/.  You may also contact Lauren Hollenbeck, Senior Planner by phone at (360) 817-1568, ext. 4253 or by email at communitydevelopment@cityofcamas.us.
